Kanji Patel is a Gujarati writer and cultural activist, with four collections of poems, three novels, and a collection of short stories to his credit. The editor of Gujarat volume in the People's Linguistic Survey of India led by G.N. Devy, he is at present curating an anthology of contemporary tribal poetry.
