Avilash Biswas is a postgraduate student in the Department of Comparative Literature at Jadavpur University. He is a writer and translator. His academic interests include: Novel as a Genre, Narratology, Cultural Studies, Islamicate Bangla Literature and Culture, Oral Folk Narratives, Literatures of European Realism and Latin American Literatures.
