ਯੋ ਨਹਾਨ ਤਾਮਾਸੋ ਮਤ ਸਮਝੋ,
ਪੁਰਖਾ ਕੀ ਅਮਰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਛੇ! ਨਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਨਾ ਸਮਝੋ; ਇਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀ
ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਹੈ

ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਮਰਹੂਮ ਕਵੀ ਸੂਰਜਮਲ ਵਿਜੈ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕੋਟਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਗੋਦ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਦੱਖਣ-ਪੂਰਬੀ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਹਾੜੌਤੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲ਼ੇ ਨਹਾਨ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।&#39;&#39;ਕੋਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਲਵੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਅਯੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ,&#39;&#39; ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਿਆਰ ਤੇ ਵਾਸੀ ਰਾਮਬਾਬੂ ਸੋਨੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। &#39;&#39;ਇੰਝ ਤਾਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਆਣ ਜੁੜਦੇ ਹਨ।&#39;&#39;
ਪੰਜ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਇਹ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਹੋਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਐਨ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਨਾਇਕ ਸੰਗਾ ਗੁਰਜਰ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ 15ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।



&#39;ਨਹਾਨ&#39; ਜਿਹਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ &#39;ਨਹਾਉਣਾ&#39; ਭਾਵ ਰਲ਼-ਮਿਲ਼ ਕੇ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਵੀ। ਇਹ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਹੋਲੀ ਨਾਲ਼ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਗੋਦ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਮੱਰਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ-ਕਾਰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਅਲੋਕਾਰੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਥ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਵੰਨ-ਸੁਵੰਨੇ ਮੇਕਅਪ ਤੇ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ਼ ਆਪਣਾ-ਆਪ ਬਦਲ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਰਾਮਬਾਬੂ ਸੋਨੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,&#39;&#39;ਕਰੀਬ 400-500 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਮੁਗਲ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ਼ਾਹਜਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਸੰਗੋਦ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਜੈਵਰਗੀਆ &#39;ਮਹਾਜਨ&#39; ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਹਜਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨੇ ਸਮਰਾਟ ਤੋਂ ਨਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਅਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮੰਗੀ, ਬੱਸ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਸੰਗੋਦ ਦਾ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਬਣ ਉੱਭਰਿਆ।&#39;&#39;ਆਸ ਪਾਸ ਦੇ
ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਚ,
ਜਾਦੂ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ
ਸੰਗੋਦ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਰਸਮ ਦੇਵੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਨਾਲ਼ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪੂਜਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਘੂਗਰੀ (ਉਬਲ਼ਿਆ ਅਨਾਜ) ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ
ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।



&#39;&#39;ਇੱਥੇ ਜਾਦੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਿਗਲ਼ੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ, ਕਈ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ-ਕਰਤਬ
ਦਿਖਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ,&#39;&#39; ਸਤਿਆਨਰਾਇਣ ਮਾਲੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ
ਜੋ ਖੁਦ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। &#39;&#39;ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ
ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਨਿਗਲ਼ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 50 ਫੁੱਟ ਲੰਬੀ
ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਦੀ ਪੱਟੀ ਕੱਢੇਗਾ ਹੈ।&quot;

ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ &#39;ਤੇ, ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੀ ਸਾਵਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਦਾ ਤਾਜ ਪਹਿਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਜਲੂਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ &#39;ਤੇ ਘੁੰਮ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ 60 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਮ ਬਾਬੂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ 25 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਸੀ, ਮੈਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ 35 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਓਨੀ ਹੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ। ਇਹ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਹੀ ਹੈ।ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬਣਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਗਿਆ।&quot;ਹਾਂ, ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣੇਗਾ,&quot; ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ।ਤਰਜਮਾ: ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ
