ਇੱਕ ਕੋਬਰੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਗਵਾਨ

ਪਰ ਉਹ ਟਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਸ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪੰਜ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਬੇਵੱਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵਾਲਮੀਕੀ
ਟਾਈਗਰ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਵਿਖੇ ਚੌਕੀਦਾਰ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ
ਯਾਦਵ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੇਰ, ਚੀਤੇ, ਗੈਂਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਪ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।



ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ

ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਚੰਪਾਰਨ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ <a href="https://valmikitigerreserve.com/">ਟਾਈਗਰ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ</a> ਲਗਭਗ 900 ਵਰਗ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 54 ਬਾਘਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹੈ। ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,

ਹੈਂ।&quot;ਯਾਦਵ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ (ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਛੜੀਆਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੂਚੀਬੱਧ) ਨਾਲ਼ ਸਬੰਧਤ, ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ ਜੰਗਲ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਹੋਏ। &quot;ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਮੱਝਾਂ ਚਾਰਨ

ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ ਨੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਅੱਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਗਾਰਡ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੀਨਾਵਾਰ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ &#39;ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ਼ ਮਿਲ਼ਦੀ ਰਹੀ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੀ। &quot;ਜੰਗਲ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨਪਸੰਦ ਕੰਮ ਸੀ,&quot; ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ।

ਬਿਹਾਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਗਾਰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਾਦਵ ਵਰਗੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਗਾਰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਵੀਟੀਆਰ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। &quot;ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ,&quot;
ਆਪਣੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੋਸਟ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਅਯੋਗ ਰਹੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੈਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ- ਜੋ ਗਾਰਡ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ
ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀ।ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ
ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਗਾਡਰ ਵੀ ਮੁੰਦਰਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। &quot;ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ

Younger, media-saturated generations are growing up knowing little about their country, but a lot about the elites of a few metros and towns.
