आसामच्या दर्रांग जिल्ह्यामध्ये अतिवृष्टी झाली आणि ब्रह्मपुत्र नदीची उपनदी असलेली नानोई बांध फोडून गावात शिरली. गावातली घरं, भाताची नुकतीच पेरणी झालेली खाचरं आणि माशाची तळी, सगळं काही वाहून गेलं
