Bonya Baruah is a freelance journalist and language expert based in Mumbai. She has been a recipient of many prestigious fellowships including UNICEF Media Fellowship, ZUBAAN-Sasakawa Peace Fellowship, Assam govt. media fellowship and Assam Science Technology and Environment Council Climate Change Reporting fellowship. Her areas of interest are women and gender, environment, human rights and development journalism.
